Shoot Many Robots

It's hard not to likeShoot Many Robots. This is exactly the kind of game that I was hoping would come back into vogue with the popularization of downloadable content, which revisits side-scrolling shooters and polishes them up with a few modern...

I could do without the grinding factor, though. Unlocking future levels in the game involves running the initial stages over and over again until you achieve at least a three-star rank, and upgrading Walter's weapons and clothes to make that possible...

Shoot Many Robots Review

The title sums up Shoot Many Robots, a kill-crazed co-op shooting spree that offers a lot of action for just $10.

Good amount of content for the $10 price ; Large variety of weapons and gear ; Lots of gratuitous robot killing and explosions ; Great sense of humor

Grows monotonous with time ; Repeats levels and boss battles

No robot, no matter how big or small, escapes the crosshairs of P. Walter Tugnut: the beer-swilling, vest-wearing protagonist of Shoot Many Robots, a game where you do just that. Shooting robots is all Walter does, and he's surprisingly good at it....

At its core, Shoot Many Robots is fun, especially with three other players, but the serious lack of variety hurts the game and keeps it from reaching the lofty heights of other old-school arcade shooters. There’s a point at which Shoot Many Robots...

So. Many. Robots.

Shoot Many Robots succeeds in being highly fun. Apart from some minor annoyances in the inventory system and difficulty balance, its challenge, sense of humor and deep customization options make for a great game with long legs and huge potential for...

Demiurge's debut effort isn't all its gorgeous aesthetic and simple sensibilities are cracked up to be.

Shoot Many Robots lives (and mostly dies) by the old idea that the first 30 seconds is what grabs the player. In that time, Demiurge establishes a fun theme in a likable world, and shows the immediate reward for making a mess. What it ultimately comes...

There's fun to be had with Shoot Many Robots, but you might find yourself having to work for it.

Works well with some friends ; Plenty of customisation

Takes some time to get going ; Far too tough in single-player

But, ultimately, Shoot Many Robots has it tough: it's a manic shooter designed to be played in co-op, but this is a small game from a little studio and the chance of it getting enough exposure to interest you and three of your mates online will likely...

It’s easy for many to dismiss Shoot Many Robots due to its repetitive nature, but seriously, what modern day shooter isn’t repetitive? Those that stick with it and delve a little deeper will find a diamond in the rough offering hours upon hours of...

Great sense of humour; Insane number of enemies; Varied combat styles

Repeated levels; Frame-rate stutters

It may be mindless and repetitive, but it's still easy to get drawn into Shoot Many Robots. The one-trick gameplay has enough humor and weapon variety to make it a good buy if you're looking to shut your brain down for a while.
