Sonic Unleashed (Wii)

Fun hedgehog levels are enough to overshadow the uninspired werehog sections in this fast-paced platformer.

Terrible level design, unresponsive controls, and a poor camera are just the beginning of the problems in this awful adventure.

Sonic Unleashed review

Sega must really hate Sonic. Every time they come up with a decent formula for a Sonic game they somehow manage to screw it up. So is the story of Sonic Unleashed. What looked to be a promising game is destined to be remembered as the Sonic game that...

If you like classic Sonic the Hedgehog platforming then this is probably not the game for you. Sonic Unleashed had a lot of squandered potential. It was a chance to reset the franchise but instead the developers decided to screw around with the formula...

Sonic Unleashed PlayStation 3 Preview

Sonic's fat Elvis years may finally be at their end with his first exciting title in years.

Is Sonic's decade-long cold streak finally coming to an end? It's a little too soon to say for sure, but Sonic Unleashed is undoubtedly a step in the right direction. Sonic fans will want to mark November 18, 2008 on their calendars.

Terrible level design, unresponsive controls, and a poor camera are just the beginning of the problems in this awful adventure.

Looks good

Monotonous combat ; Imprecise platforming ; Inept camera restricts your view ; Tons of control issues ; Horrendous level design

Sonic Unleashed (PS3) review

Sonic Unleashed Review

2D and 3D together in one Sonic game with Werehog support. Sounds scary? Perhaps ...

At times the gameplay is too fast ; Can prove frustrating ; Werehog levels let the game down

"Sonic Unleashed" on the Nintendo Wii has an awful lot of good things about it, mainly how it looks and the way it flicks between a 2d and 3d environment. Sadly there are a few too many negative things about it such as the ‘werehog' levels and at times...

Two Steps Forward One Step Back

After failures and failures Sonic is still trying to get his footing back. It just seems like whatever game is released no matter how much Sega tries is a failure. Sonic the Hedgehog or Sonic 06 and many other 3D Sonic games in my opinion could have...

Spectacular graphics: Daytime Stages: Music: 2D-3D merge

Just plain boring.

Graphics are much better then previous game, but that's about all

New "wer-hog morph" mode was created to make the game more fun and interesting, but it actually ruins the game further. To put it simply, this game is just not fun
