Spider-Man: Edge of Time (PlayStation 3)

Spider-Man: Edge of Time tells an enjoyably absurd time-hopping tale, but stepping into the tights of its two heroes doesn't feel as empowering as it should.

Spider-Man: Edge of Time

Spider-Man: Edge of Time is Beenox's rather sad and sorry chaser to the comparatively fine drink that was Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions. Instead of playing as four different Spider-Men, this go around you're limited to two: the Spider-Man we all...

Limiting this conversation to pure aesthetics, then yes, the game looks reasonably nice ; Voice acting is decent, if you don’t mind the fact that these two are annoying as hell, and cattier than a pair of old queens

As a game that’s meant to be played, Spider-Man Edge of Time fails on some surprisingly basic levels. The simple combat and respawning enemies do little for the pacing and become a nuisance very quickly, the twitch-based falling of 2099 are high-speed...
