Star Wars The Clone Wars: Republic Heroes

Bore you to tears, it will…

Decent graphics ; Succeeds as a falling-down-a-cliff simulator ; Gives you unlimited lives

Too few abilities and none of them are satisfying ; Poorly-defined levels ; Tedious, repetitive gameplay

Droids can be ‘jacked’ in order to use their offensive capabilities, but this is way too fiddly and frustrating to entertain. There are also some shooty clone trooper bits, but why are we even talking about this game, anyway? We'd much rather talk...

This platformer based on the Star Wars cartoon TV series tries to copy the Lego game formula but gets just about everything wrong.

Awkward, unresponsive controls ; Confusing level design and art ; Terrible camera angles ; Repetitive mission combat and puzzles

Graphics stay true to the movie and cartoon ; Responsive combat controls with Jedi ; A large amount of unlockables

Horrible platforming controls ; Not enough variation in levels ; Clone sections are dull ; No online co-op

In the unending torrent of Star Wars universe related games, Lucas Arts and Krome Studios have gifted the world with another game tie-in. The game is meant to bridge the gap between the storylines of season one and season two of the CGI animated...

Number of different characters ; Ties in with TV series ; Novelty mask and hats available in shop ; Two-player co-op

Lacklustre story ; Unresponsive control system ; Limited abilities ; Bad game camera angles ; Repetitive play ; Awful voice acting and dialogue

A lot is lacking from Republic Heroes. The story does not draw you in and you really could not care about what happens to any of the characters, so woodenly they are portrayed. At one point when a clone soldier remarked that they were "running out of...
