Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II Review

Though occasionally enjoyable, this Force-powered sequel is a mere apprentice to its superior predecessor.

Great cutscenes and voice acting give the story poignancy ; Rich art design makes certain environments stand out ; Dual sabers and Force powers can make for fun combat

Lacks enemy and environmental variety ; Inconsistent level of difficulty ; The final boss fight is too long and too easy

The lack of variety extends beyond the game's environments. While The Force Unleashed featured Jawas, Wookies, Felucian skullblades, Rodian rippers, drones, scrap creatures, and more (in addition to the expected troops and walkers), this sequel relies...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II PS3 Review

Carrying on from the rather marmite previous entry in the series, The Force Unleashed 2 brings us once again into the shoes of Starkiller; Darth Vader's secret apprentice. The story see's the young Starkiller on a more personal journey than the first...

Graphically impressive levels ; Improved melee combat ; Great set-pieces

No real story resolution ; Short, roughly six hours ; There's never a feeling of being an all-powerful Jedi

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

Jae is now a Jedi. One that can turn his chopsticks into light sabers to fight evil. I think I've discovered a new story arc which George Lucas can make money off. Jae the Jedi.

Graphically its so pretty ; Some genuinely fun boss battles

Plot hole story line ; Some generic quick time events that you repeat over and over

In the season we’re in right now, we have the luxury of picking and choosing what is bang for our buck. The Force Unleashed 2 is not bang worthy for the same buck/s. I would still recommend checking out the game but only after you’ve played through the...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II (2010)

2008’s Star Wars: The Force Unleashed was nothing short spectacular; an integral part of the Star Wars story cannon that delivered on Jedi thrills and, just as important - narrative. Unfortunately The Force Unleashed II has failed - and on quite a...

Finally this is getting interesting... WHAT?!

That has to be one of the shortest games I've ever played. There is no real build up to the end, it's just go here, go here, well done, enjoy the the credits. The gameplay is pretty much a button mashers wet dream. There is no need to mix it up and...

Way too short & generally disappointing

I'm a big fan of the Star Wars franchise and really enjoyed the first TFU game, but unfortunately TFU2 is just too short, with no force power development and distinctly lacking any sign of originality for me to give it anything over a rating of...
