Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2

Let me begin this review by asking a question: Why did LucasArts decide to release a sequel to The Force Unleashed?? It can?t have anything to do with the fact the first game got poor to mixed reviews by most critics. ?The developers probably weren?t...

The Force Unleashed 2 should honestly have never been made. There is very little content and even less creativity to speak of, the gameplay problems from the first game have not been properly solved, and the story is a blemish on the Star Wars franchise.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 Hands-On Preview

LucasArts has guaranteed gamers that the issues that plagued Star Wars: The Force Unleashed have been eliminated for the sequel, hitting stores in a few short weeks. I got my hands on the upcoming title and force pushed my way through storm troopers...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Review [PS2, PS3, Wii, X360]

Remember when you were younger and you wanted to be Luke Skywalker, or for some of us Darth Vader? Well enter the new guy, Star Killer who is Darth Vader's secret apprentice and our newest edition to the force. The Force Unleashed takes place between 3...

The force is the main weapon unlike in other games ; Wide variety of environments ; Enemies and destructible environment react accurately to whatever happens to them

Ridiculous load times ; Great momentum ends with a soft lackluster thud ; Respawn points are badly placed

Star Wars fan boys are sure to get a bigger kick out of Unleashed than you're average gamer, so if you aren't a fan of Star Wars renting this title would be the best decision.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Review

Neoseeker's Chad provides an in-depth review for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the best-selling game yet in the celebrated Star Wars franchise.

The game is very short, only taking me a little more than five hours of total play time to beat every level without collecting all of the Jedi Holocrons within each level. After going back and getting most of them, the game was starting to become...

Review: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

I think we'd all be kidding ourselves if we said the concept behind Star Wars: The Force Unleashed didn't provoke interest and intrigue. When LucasArts began this project in 2004, they wanted to create a Star Wars game unlike anything the gaming world...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - PS3 review at Thunderbolt Games

Star Wars is a rich universe to draw from for video games. Unlike many other licensed titles, plenty of Star Wars games have been warmly received by critics. Lucasarts is a trusted name in the industry, thanks to their pioneering work in adventure...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (PS3)

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is one of the most frustrating games I've ever played. And not necessarily because it's hard -- for the most part, it's not. It's suitably challenging and has only a couple of brick walls (both situated near the end of...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed Review

TVG turns to the Dark Side in this bridging instalment to Lucas' epic space franchise...

Strong storyline for Star Wars fans ; Solid combat combos ; More engaging than anticipated

Poor enemy AI ; Showcase Star Destroyer sequence is poor ; Little room for replayability

A seriously surprising entry into Star Wars canon, the storylines is largely strong, and whilst there are several issues with the gameplay, The Force Unleashed is not the Phantom Menace we thought it would be.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

The Force Unleashed has two things going for it Too Human can only dream of: the draw of the Star Wars license and not one, but two new in-game technologies: Euphoria (Behavioral Simulation Engine) and DMM (Digital Molecular Materials), designed to...

An engaging story, for a videogame ; Aside from targeting, fun to use The Force ; Euphoria and DMM have bright futures ; Nothing like the sights and sounds of Star Wars

Too linear, no multiplayer ; Targeting sometimes a nightmare ; QTE for bosses ; No mind control

Though difficult to adhere to so close to release, the best advice to enjoy The Force Unleashed at its fullest is to temper those out-of-control expectations a bit. Take solace in knowing a strong new narrative chapter of the Star Wars saga is about to...
