Super Street Fighter IV (PlayStation 3)

In a world where downloadable content keeps games fresh long after their shine has started to fade, fighter fans may perceive the retail release of Super Street Fighter IV as a way of double-dipping into the pockets of series devotees twice in...

Super indeed.

A dump trucks load worth of improvements and a pile of outstanding new characters improve an already incredible game; the price is right

Might be too soon for some; tutorial still sucks; weird menu UI

Still, learning is part of the fun, and when this, and a few weird user interface issues (do I really need to tap the A button 16 times to individually acknowledge the number of new costume colors Ive unlocked?) comprise the worst parts of the game,...

Well it's good to see CAPCOM are back on track, after the 10 year hiatus they gave us the phenomenal and well received Street Fighter IV. Now less than a year later we have Super Street Fighter IV (SSFIV), but with the current digital revolution and...

New online game modes round off the remaining new features that can be found in this Super edition of the series. Team Battle brings up to 8 player tournaments online. There is also a new Replay Channel that allows players to view saved replays...

Additional boost in characters; Better online modes added; Old unlocks available from the off

Same storyline, so nothing new; Character Intros and outros could be better

A welcome return to the series, for me, is the barrel and car bonus stages as seen in Street Fighter 2. This allows you to rack-up your overall score with the addition of some well-placed kicks or punches to car body panels or some rolling barrels....

After almost two decades and an obsessive-compulsive number of make-good re-releases, Capcom has finally achieved what it was striving for with Street Fighter II with ...

There’s a forgettable plot wedged between all the Dragon Punches, but without live opponents, a fighting game’s shelf life is pretty limited. Fortunately, online play is much more robust this go-round. As the arcades die on these shores, SSFIV’s home...

When Street Fighter IV launched last year, it practically told the world that the fighting genre has returned. Sure, Tekken, Virtua Fighter and a few other games have kept fighters afloat, but Street Fighter IV lit a fire under the genre's ass...just...

Is Super Street Fighter IV really super? (PS3, Xbox 360)

Street Fighter IV was a vitally important game to me. While it's widely agreed that it's the defining fighting game of this generation of consoles, for me it also represented the game that made fighting games fun again when I had begun to lose faith in...

New characters and modes make this brawler the one to beat.

That issue aside, Super Street Fighter IV is a necessary upgrade. Instead of cheating gamers out of their dough, Capcom pumped the game full of attractive features for a budget price. That makes this exciting brawler a must buy for both longtime fans...

You know you've got a good game on your hands when you pick it up at midnight and before you know it's 7am, you've got to go to work and you haven't had a wink of sleep.

I would love an unlimited ultra cheat, to unleash a flurry of powerful attacks along with of course the inevitable unlimited health cheat. Stick with Cheat Happens for more Super Street Fighter IV cheats as they become available.

When Capcom announced that they were releasing another version of Street Fighter IV, a mere year later than the original game, the main reaction from the internet gaming community was a collective moan. Granted, we didn't know much about the game when...

Capcom has done much more than slap on a few new characters and push the game out the door. They've taken the original title, reconstructed it, and produced a game that surpasses the original Street Fighter IV in every way possible.
