The Golden Compass

It's not the worst game based on a movie, but it's close.

The Daemon and the Alethiometer gameplay add little excitement to a tedious game

Slow and repetitive gameplay; bad voice acting and cut-scene audio; no camera control

The Golden Compass Review for the PS3

The curse of the movie license.

Looks awful; Plays worse; Sounds terrible; Plot like a hole in the ground that you dump precious hours of your life into; Inspires homicidal urges in the most patient anglophiles

The Golden Compass (PS3) review

Or... posh kids in La-La land

Ignore this game; let it pass unhindered. If you don’t interfere with it, it can’t hurt you. Or, you could come to work on Play and be forced to complete it, leaving your face in a permanently contorted, fixed expression of disgust.

The Golden Compass- PS3

This is a very unusual game. The first thing I noticed was that you can't see the screen from all angles. (Unless that's only me!). It has a variety of 'mini games' in deception mode which I found very annoying. On the plus side, the graphics are...
