The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection

What began as an experimental project when Bluepoint Games sharpened up the first two God of War games and brought them to us again in glorious high definition on the PS3 has, to some extent, spawned an entire sub-market for HD remakes. Few games are...

Do Ico and Shadow of the Colossus still move us? Read IGN's review, complete with video.

The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection reminds me that video games can match the evocative and thrilling qualities of any other creative medium. While Ico's gameplay mechanics show their age and Shadow of the Colossus didn't quite take me to the...

The ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection Review

When ICO first launched in 2001, and even as late as 2005 when Shadow of the Colossus graced the Playstation 2, the “games as art” conversation was still in its infancy. I remember playing through ICO...

HD makes a significant difference ; Both stories are heartfelt and moving ; Sense of scale persists, even after a decade

Colors seem washed out ; Controls show their age

The ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection Review

Long heralded as masterworks of their generation, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus are finally realized in glorious HD.

The ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection delivers on every aspect it promised. Both titles look and sound so much better than when originally released. They both maintain the magical allure they once had, and if I had but one game to recommend to...

The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection- PS3

ICO and Shadow of the Colossus aren't perfect, and both are showing their age, but these are still excellent ports of two of the most downright epic games ever created. If you haven't played them, snap this re-release up.

The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection- PS3

It's a rare game that can make you love the thing you're supposed to be killing, but then there really isn't anything else like Ico and Colossus. At least, not until The Last Guardian - the third game from Ueda - pads its way onto PlayStation next year.

The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection- PS3

Playing through these games again made me thoroughly jealous of anyone who has yet to experience either title. The Ico and Shadow of the Colossus collection is a disc that deserves to be played, replayed, and displayed with pride.

The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection- PS3

Shadow of the Colossus] is still one of the most remarkable video games ever created. And with its newfound buttery smoothness, this is undoubtedly the best way to play it. If you've already toppled its sixteen guardians many times over, it's still...
