The Sly Collection

Elsewhere in the package, there's support for PlayStaion Move in the form of bonus mini-games. Unfortunately, these never equate to anything more than 15 minutes of fun, and once you've milked them of their respective Trophies, it's safe to say you'll...

Gorgeous cel-shaded visuals; Hilarious Script; Successfully merges stealth and platforming

Frustrating combat in original game; Very difficult for younger players; Original game can be repetitive at times

Developer Sucker Punch had clearly hit the height of the powers by the time Sly 3: Honour Among Thieves debuted in 2005, and while it doesn’t really add much to the existing formula, it cemented Sly Cooper into the minds and hearts of all those who...

A Bit of Spit and Polish

Some of the best platforming available on the ps3, great value for the price

If you\'ve played them before, these games are exactly the same. Sly 4 would have been more appreciated

Though the games are remastered in HD, I wouldn’t have noticed at first. They look as good as I remember them being, nothing more or less. However, while the in-game graphics have been redone (cutscenes are in the original, but they were always in a...

The PlayStation 2 gave birth to some of the greatest video game series ever, whether we're talking about Ratchet & Clank, God of War or ICO/Shadow of the Colossus; just to name a few. Another series that was created during that era was Sly Cooper,...

The Sly Collection Review

Just as a reminder, I'm doing this review because it was the top vote-getter in that poll. I sorta wanted to play this, anyway, so it all worked out. ;) Sly Cooper is a top-quality platforming franchise that satisfied gamers and critics alike back in...

The Sly Collection (PS3) Review

Sly Cooper and the gang get the HD treatment in this collection. Has old age crept up on the raccoon? We find out just how nimble Sly really is after all these years.

Long before Sucker Punch Productions produced the sandbox hit inFAMOUS, they were dabbling in platforming with their lovable character Sly Cooper. A thief by nature, he formed a gang with his longtime friends to help him pull off daring heists. Though...

The Sly Collection

Timing has never been Sly Cooper's best friend. From day one he's been overshadowed by Sony's other two 3D platformers - Ratchet & Clank and Jak & Daxter. Despite remaining in the shadows, Sly was able to sneak his way into three PlayStation 2 games....

Sly Cooper may not be as popular as Jak and Ratchet, but his PlayStation 3 trilogy is the perfect candidate for an HD makeover. The Sly Collection packages three of Sony's very best 3D platformers into one budget title. Throw in trophies and move...

The Sly Collection- PS3

The Sly Collection has something to offer for fans or newcomers to the series. With no new game since 2005 and nothing (yet) on PS3, this package is a great chance to revisit a really good series of games. The presentation values hold up even today....

Sly Collection - PS3

If you've never played a Sly Cooper game, you're missing out. The entire trilogy is packed into one disc, and has been revamped in beautiful HD ... Sly has never looked better. Whether you're a casual or hardcore gamer, you're bound to find some...

A great series with unique gameplay and lovable characters. The game itself looks great and invokes loads of PS2-era nostalgia (if you played it during that time, that is). Three platinum trophies on one disc is a great plus. You'll find no better...

Some of the cinematics (transitions from outside the hideout to the slideshows) are grainy and dated, though they're admittedly not important. There are glitches from time to time, but they're relatively few and far between. The mini-games are very...

Sly Collection - PS3

This game is just flat-out awesome! I love everything about this game, it is probably one of the best PS3 games out there. It is the best way to play Sly 1, 2, and 3. Also, if you get all the trophies on those games, you get a trailer for Sly 4!...

3D effects, Move mini games, trophy support, Sly 4 trailer, story, HD graphics, gameplay, controls, basically everything

Not much. Maybe a few glitches but not many

The Sly [Collection] is worth a punt whether you played the originals or not. It still plays fantastically, and now looks gorgeous too. Prepare yourself for the upcoming fourth release, and grab a copy of this 2000's legacy.
