TimeShift (PlayStation 3)

An interesting time-shifting mechanic and fun-to-shoot weapons can't make up for the rest of TimeShift's run-of-the-mill first-person shooter gameplay.

TimeShift

Rewinding to 2004

Time-stopping death potential ; Time bubbles in multiplayer ; Watching rain fall up into the sky

Time powers never change ; Underdeveloped story ; Repetitive puzzles

TimeShift Review

Bad AI, an obtuse story, and a frustrating end game drag TimeShift down into the realm of mediocrity.

What we are left with is a really good shooter that is somewhat hindered by bad AI, a bad storyline and tedious objectives toward the end. The sum total of the whole game still comes out being a pretty good one even with those problems. It also comes...

TimeShift Review

Saber Interactive finally delivers its troubled first-person shooter, but will its difficult past affect its future...

Some clever use of the time powers ; Solid enough shooter ; Time elements in the multiplayer

Largely generic gameplay ; Looks like an aged game ; Lacking in originality

A drawn out and largely mediocre experience that's perhaps to be expected given TimeShift's difficult gestation, Saber Interactive's shooter nonetheless has some bright moments - but they're too little few and far between.

[Gamers' Day 2007] Time Keeps On Slippin' Slippin' Slippin'

The future of first-person shooters? We're not quite sure yet, but TimeShift sure is interesting.

The game right now is early, but it will be running at 1080p and if they can give the game the same sort of polish and smoothness that we saw in the PC build, this could easily be one of the cooler titles on the PS3. Like a few of the games being shown...

TimeShift PlayStation 3 Review

A fairly standard shooter that falls short of expectations.

Timeshift starts off with a bang, with impressive visuals and God-like powers at your fingertips. The bang, however, fails to last throughout the game, and you'll constantly find it harder and harder to keep going. Beyond the been-there-done-that...

Great Game

The game play on this game for me was very smooth. I had no troubles. I thought that the makers of the game was creative with time. They used stopping, slowing, and fast forwarding time. I think that they could have improved more on the game play for...

I played this game with my nephiew and wow really well done. Yes I have read reviews where they say it is just another shooter but lets be honest all shooters are basically the same you point and you shoot. Granted some are better than others and this...

No dull moment

After doing research on reviews and opinions from other gamers, I decided to give this a try. Have to be more cautious after getting the Mass Effect dud of a game. Turned out this game is addicting (in a good way) just like the other reviewer said. The...

Excellent gameplay, can't put it down. Long, decent storyline. No abusive language found like Rainbow 6 Vegas & F.E.A.R

Graphics very good, although not the best. Best resolution only in 720p so set your PS3 to AUTO resolution
