Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

There is no doubt that when Naughty Dog released Uncharted: Drake's Fortune for the PlayStation 3 in 2007, the industry would forever be change in the way they told a story through games. Gone are the days where you can simply slap together a so-so...

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Review: PS3's Action-Adventure Treasure

Nathan Drake, star of 2009's Game of the Year, returns to the PS3 with a brand new adventure. But is Uncharted 3 the better of the two to get lost in?

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception plays out like a lot of Nathan Drake's discoveries: someone has already been there before him. In the case of this game, that someone is Uncharted 2. Gamers who experienced Nate's extraordinary journey to find Shangri-La...

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception- PS3

Nathan Drake, the man with the strongest fingertips in gaming, returns to close out his debut trilogy in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Developer Naughty Dog has thrown in everything save the kitchen sink: foot chases, car chases, scenes on...

Naughty Dog has wrapped up the Uncharted trilogy in a nice box and bow, just in time for the holidays. The story has all of the off-the-wall antics of an Indiana Jones movie, with a group of characters who make the outlandishness of the plot easy to...

Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Review

It's no secret that I'm a big Uncharted fan and that Nathan Drake is one of my favorite characters in all of gaming. There's just something about the ensemble of characters that Naughty Dog has assembled...

Varied, beautiful locales ; Fantastic score ; Improved melee combat ; Characters, story and voicing are top notch

Aiming/shooting sluggish ; Fewer and shorter puzzles

It’s no secret that I’m a big Uncharted fan and that Nathan Drake is one of my favorite characters in all of gaming. There’s just something about the ensemble of characters that Naughty Dog has assembled that feels authentic, even amidst the...

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Let's get this out of the way, there are some slight issues, like the camera sometimes going off on its own and getting stuck behind walls; but all that seems like a non issue when taking into account just how fantastic Uncharted 3's presentation is.

While it's just fantastic, and one of the greatest melee combat systems I have ever seen, you can just spam the Triangle button and you'll never get hit. When an enemy goes for a swing, you can press triangle and dodge it - but you can mash Triangle...

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Uncharted 3 is everything people expect of the series: it's big, it's funny and it's still a true showcase for narrative focused action games. However, it is not the same leap forward that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was, compared to Drake's Fortune....

Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception

Do you remember when Naughty Dog released Uncharted 2 and blew everyone away? Well they did it again. While Uncharted 3 may not be as ground

Uncharted 3 is one of the best games I have played this year. This series is one of the main reasons I am glad to be a Playstation 3 owner as these games have always been of the highest quality. Now that this game is out and only one more announced...

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Incredible, emotional story ; Beautiful, eye-popping visuals in every level ; The technical marvel that is game-rendered sand ; Voice acting still amazing ; Action and stunts that amaze ; Worthy character, title, and series to represent Playstation 3

Unnecessary need of co-op, both is story and in gameplay ; Too much combat (there is such a thing) ; Broken targeting in gun combat

In addition to co-op there is a more robust online multiplayer mode, which focuses more on combat and less on puzzles and parkour. Again, I'm not a fan of this in this series, but I understand Naughty Dog's reasoning in so to extend the replayability...

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Review

In ten years time, when we look back at the successes of the current generation, the Uncharted series will still be prominent in our minds. Nathan Drake's thirst for exploration, charming good looks and quick wit make him one of the most likeable...

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Rev..

Deceptively simple, but with plenty of visual flair.

Impressive visuals; Likable characters; Dynamic climbing/combat system

False sense of danger; Constant MacGuffin?s; Loose gunplay
