Warhawk (PS3)

Remember Warhawk? It was 1995 and users on the original PlayStation got to play a solid, mission-based sci-fi flight shooter and take to the alien skies against the nefarious Kreel (a villain so badass that he chokes on a chicken bone while laughing at...

This review is based on a retail copy of the game provided by the publisher.

Different Game Types

There are a few different game types and everyone should be able to find a variant that suits them just fine. From my personal favorite Zones (territory control battles) to Capture the Flag to Team Deathmatch to Team Dogfighting you should be able to...

Warhawk - PS3 review at Thunderbolt Games

Following the development of any next-generation game at the moment often feels like its own little mystery. Will the final release have the same level of polish shown in the early builds? Will the team manage to actually include the key feature that...

Warhawk (PS3)

Warhawk does many things right, with action-packed, diverse and engaging gameplay that will surely help you dismiss its technical shortcomings.

Varied yet balanced gameplay encourages teamwork and strategy; smooth and lag-free online play

Bugs, bugs and more bugs; devoid of a back story; rampant teamkilling

Warhawk has come pretty far from its first appearance during the launch window of the original PlayStation. Instead of doing a whole franchise relaunch in the vein of Twisted Metal: Black, Incog. Inc has decided to drop the originally planned...

A game that looks great, plays great, actually utilizes the SixAxis controller to great effect, WarHawk is pretty much the reason hardcore Sony fans bought a PlayStation3 in the first place. Good thing, too, as that's about the only group that has.

Contrary to the "casual gaming" trend everyone is talking about these days, Sony's WarHawk for PlayStation3 is geared squarely toward the majority of current PS3 owners; it's hardcore.

Warhawk Review

Warhawk is finally a PS3 exclusive worth getting excited about.

Warhawk is a bit of a surprise in just how much fun it really is; this game sits right alongside Xbox's Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, the only game that can be compared to this on gameplay alone, with the ground and aerial combat. When Incognito...

The long road to the skies...

The bottom line is that if you have a PS3 and you're willing to put up with the developers continuing to work the kinks out of the network, then Warhawk is definitely worth a shot. If you weren't in the beta test, you'll be better off buying the retail...

You have to know that Sony is going to come out with all guns blazing this holiday season, ready to bring everything they have to the table to get

There is no doubt about it, Warhawk is a great game, and is one of the new reasons to go out and purchase a Playstation 3. If you want to save the money (which I recommend) go with the digital copy of the game. The headset included with the boxed copy...
