Another iteration in the well received wrestling series gives us more of the same with some pleasant new features.

WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2010

Creativity breathes new life into the old SmackDown formula.

Story designer great for interactive storytelling; lots of fun match types and plenty of content

Unplayable online; strict limitations to crafting and using custom Superstars; high load times and clipping

WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010

Thanks to some awesome new features, "WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2010" is a great improvement over last year's iteration.

Great visual quality ; Pure licensed WWE soundtrack ; Simple control scheme ; Most in-depth create-a-wrestler experience to date ; Custom stories are incredibly fun to play with ; Online play is simple and lag-free ; Plenty of match type variation

Included character roster could have been a bit better

Fans of WWE, this is a no brainer. Buy this game as soon as you have the spare cash. Anyone else, check it out if you're interested in the whole idea of wrestling. If wrestling has absolutely no appeal to you, skip this one.

WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2010

The Smackdown franchise began in the year 2000, with the first game in March swiftly followed by its sequel in November for the Playstation One. Two console generations on, it's still going strong, with Yukes and THQ offering updated rosters and...

Plenty of new wrestlers, modes and matches ; Create-A-Story is awesome (if time consuming) ; Diva and CAW stories for Road to Wrestlemania ; Unlockable Legends are back ; Revamped Royal Rumble mode ; Training area is great for newcomers ; Can finally...

Career Mode is still boring ; No more inter-gender matches ; AI ruins Championship Scramble matches ; Create-A-Story censorship often makes no sense ; Roster still somewhat out of date ; New reversal system is a little easy

For the wrestling fan with a creative mind, and an ongoing openness to explore the ideas of others, Smackdown vs Raw 2010 could well be the ultimate wrestling game. After all, there's nigh-on infinite possibilities to keep you coming back once you're...

Best Smackdwn yet, but stil not the definintive experience

This is definitlely the best next-gen smackdown game. Graphics are excellent, the royal rumble's been vastly improved and Road-to-Wrestlemania is great (wish there were more though). As always the roster is fairly large with a variety of wrestlers and...

Better than i expected

I didnt get this game until a week ago, because since Here Comes the Pain most of the WWE efforts have been extremely poor.

Very Average

At first the game seems fun and challenging. These feelings quickly fade as the game play becomes repetitive and dull. The create modes are very long and require dedication, something Im afraid I lacked. The career modes are limited. The game play...

I have owned 2006, 2007 and 2008(which was the pitts) i decided to try this one. I can say i am very disapointed. Lets look at the good first. The custom options are very good and u can create wrestlers, entrance movies add custom songs from your hard...
