Ace Combat: Joint Assault (PSP)

By now, the Ace Combat name has practically become synonymous with reliable, high-quality dogfighting action. Joint Assault, the second outing on the PSP for the series, certainly doesn't disappoint in this regard. Unfortunately, the story and the...

Come fly the portable skies. The Ace Combat series has always been known for quality. Regardless of what platform the game released on you can always expect a solid outing....

Co-op mode is a blast ; Solid online component ; Plenty of content

Campaign grows stale ; Controls are limited

The Ace Combat series has always been known for quality. Regardless of what platform the game released on you can always expect a solid outing. In the latest game Namco Bandai has delivered yet another engrossing experience, but with a catch. Joint...

Ace Combat: Joint Assault

Ace Combat: Joint Assault is the latest entry in a series that has survived a few system generations now, so the gameplay is pretty well-defined at this point. You're dogfighting over the skies of wherever you happen to be, using the various planes and...

There are reasons to go back to stages other than credits, though they're largely superficial. You're ranked on your performance, though I'm confused as to how that works, exactly. There are stages I thought I nailed and only got a C in, and other...

Great cooperative play and solid action save the latest Ace Combat game from its lackluster campaign.
