Burnout Legends

Burnout 3: Takedown and Burnout: Revenge are probably my favorite racing games. Their ultra-fast pace is unmatched, and the amount of destruction in a racing game is amazing. This recipe equals awesomeness, and Burnout Legends is almost the same.

Burnout Legends

Funny thing about racing games on PSP. First, there's too many of them. Second, they're usually stripped down knock-offs of something already seen on the PlayStation2 home console.

Burnout Legends

Some legends never die, but this one should be dragged behind the barn and put out of its misery.

Classic Burnout tracks admirably recreated for DS hardware ; Over 50 cars to choose from

Everything else

Burnout Legends DS is a terrible game. It's in 3D, and the Burnout tracks are scaled down well, but nothing else about the game is worth sitting through. It's slow, boring, and poorly put together, three things that the Burnout series is definitely...

Burnout Legends Review

Burnout Legends is one of the most addictive racing games you'll find on the PSP this year and missing out on this one means you either hate your PSP or are allergic to fun.

While it's missing a few of the elements the console versions offer, Burnout Legends is the perfect substitute to have with you when you're far from your console. Not only does it look amazing but it plays just as fluidly and as gorgeously as the big...

Burnout: Legends

The PSP is quickly becoming the house that racing titles built, with many of the handheld's driving games consistently ranking at the best titles on the system. Console gamers have long enjoyed the Burnout series with its sense of speed, visual...

With a great sense of speed and deep gameplay inspired by Burnout 3, Burnout Legends is one of the best racers available on the PSP. This is one of those games that you can sit down for a few minutes and enjoy or get lost in for a couple of hours....

Burnout Legends Review

Burnout Legends is a blast to play and sure to be a favorite of PSP owners.

Burnout Legends is a blast to play and quickly has become one of my favorite PSP games. Anyone familiar with the Burnout series should pick this up without hesitation. Anyone new to the series should also pick it up and give it a spin!

Burnout Legends - PSP review at Thunderbolt Games

I was pulled over once. In my town, at the intersection of two roads, a giant bump exists. If you hit this bump at about thirty miles-per-hour, you get a weird feeling in your belly. When you hit it at fifty mph, your car goes into the air a little...

Burnout Legends

Legends functions the same exact way. Not only do you have to deal with the constant fear of traffic getting in the way (nothing like rounding the last corner only to slam into a bus and lose the race), the opponent AI would like nothing more than...

Burnout Legends review for the PSP

A crashing success.

Great gameplay; Impressive visuals; Countless modes; Tons of unlockable content

No new features; Still no manual replay options

That's small beans, though, on a giant platter of racing goodness. Burnout Legends is an excellent port and a great addition to the anemic PSP game library. Although we long for more unique games for the system (like Lumines), having to make do with a...
