Colin McRae Rally 2005 - PSP review - Pocket-lint

Graphics, autosave, depth of content

Like in previous versions, Colin McRae is a highly polished title that will serve you well if you need your rallying fix when out on the road

Colin McRae Rally 2005 Plus

Watch out, there's a flying Scotsman about and he's making his way onto your PSP at a reckless speed

And it's a similar situation on PSP too, as Colin McRae Rally 2005 Plus manages to combine the quick-fire thrills of an arcade racer with the detailed authenticity of a true driving simulation better than any other game currently available. Admittedly,...

Colin McRae Rally 2005 plus

The extreme difficulty of the career mode tarnishes an otherwise great game. With that game mode lacking mainstream appeal, only hardcore rally fans will be able to enjoy all the game has to offer.

Some slowdown ; Far too difficult to progress in career mode

The actual driving in Colin McRae Rally 2005 plus is fine, and once you get used to the twitchiness it becomes very enjoyable, but the extreme difficulty of the career mode makes the package as a whole far less appealing. With so many other racing...

The best of CM -

Maybe highly realistic, but very difficult to play. Even the slowest cars are hard to keep on the track. My guess is most people won't have the patience to it. On the plus side, it's got great visuals, and a good selection of cars and race modes. ...

Four Wheels Good, Two Wheels Bad

Four Wheels Good, Two Wheels Bad

This is a cute little rally game, which if you're used to the big console versions will be quite familiar in most ways. It looks like CMR2 on a PC, that is, quite good. I found that it was hard to get any decent times with the 2-wheel drive cars, so...

After a challenging rally game? Get this!

After a challenging rally game? Get this!

CMR 2005+ is one of the best rally games I've played and I strongly recommend anyone who has a PSP to get it. There are many gameplay modes to choose from - Challenges, Championship and Career - which is the meat of the game. This is exactly like any of...

Stick with it!

I took the game, all excited and played career mode, but at first I found it really hard. But thats the same with every other game, you just have to get used to the controls and how the cars react to the input from the controller. The graphics are...
