Eragon review for the PSP

I am Dragon, hear me roar.

Dragon kill!; Lots of mini-games; Invite your friends; Pretty countryside

Buttons confusing!; Blocky buildings; Stupid humans

OK. Before we get into talking about the PSP version of Eragon, here's a hypothetical question for you. Which would you rather be?

Yet another PSP game that falls flat for lack of camera control.

I can't decide who's at fault here. Is it Sony for including 3D power and no way to control the camera? Or is it the fault of these game developers that insist on developing 3D games that obviously need camera control? Racing games seem to work fine....

It's the only one of the Eragon games that gives you an authentic, satisfying dragon-riding experience, but is it enough?

Fluid flying animation; best dragon-riding experience of any Eragon game; game-sharing multiplayer play

Overly complex control options; narrow environments ruin flying fun; ambiguous mission goals

For fans of the novels, this game is shaping up to be a definite must buy. Also, for anyone looking for a fun adventure title should look no further, Eragon looks to sport a beefy combat system as well as intuitive cooperative gameplay, and tackling a...

Eragon - Review

The book and movie Eragon tell the story of a dragon rider, so it's pretty fitting that the game version focus on dragon riding. In fact you can almost consider the game to be a dragon simulator of sorts. So is it good to be the dragon? The game opens...

Eragon will appeal more to those with dreams of dragon riding than those simply looking for a good action game.

Wouldn't know, got the PSP game....

I would love to tell you that this movie was a great time waster, but unfortunately they sent me the PSP game instead of the movie. The boyfriend loved it. I'll request it again, and see what I get.
