There are many types of zombie movie: the old school Romero shamblers, the 28 Days Later sprinters, the monkey bite infected ninja priest of Brain Dead. Some use the ‘z' word while others avoid it all together, blaming a virus or strange drugs....

Starved PSP owners looking for new, exciting games for their cherished handheld won't find anything groundbreaking in Planet Mood Studio's Infected. Instead, a cut-and-dry approach to zombification and a light, comedic story permeate this title from...

Zombie combos ; Weapon variation ; M ultiplayer is smooth and fun for a bit ; Infecting people over the internet and tracking it

Single player campaign is short ; Multiplayer needs more gametypes ; No replay value after beating the single player game

It's a good game, just not as good as it could have been given more time. We think Planet Moon Studios can do a much better job next time around.

Infected on PSP

The game also features numerous players via Ad-Hoc mode if Infrastructure mode is not an option. More Vs mode options are only available this way, like Mad Cow, but both modes have their positives and negatives.

Infected Review

Majesco's Infected has been a highly anticipated PSP title around the GF! offices: It has a great features list that includes zombies (big bonus) and online multiplayer (bigger bonus) that allows you to "infect" other players with your personalized...

fast action fighting, stellar graphics, smooth game play, great music, interesting online play

shallow single player, imperfect multiplayer

Given all of these extras, Infected should be a great game. Infected just doesn't manage to bring together its story elements, design, and game play. The design is edgy (even dropping the F-bomb) and, for the zombie aficionados, Infected does offer a...

Planet Moon's trademark humor finally makes its way to the PSP, and it's a blast.

The PSP needed another good action game, and hooboy is this it. Pure visceral thrills from start to finish, just a touch of strategy and online play that actually lets you play against others all over the world. THIS is the kind of game the PSP can offer.

Infected - PSP review at Thunderbolt Games

I think there's one problem with the PSP that most of us reviewers are ignoring: we don't know what we want with it. Since the technology is so advanced, we want a console experience in our hands. We want the best graphics, the best gameplay, and the...

Infected Sony PSP Review

In the game, you take control of a character in quite a bit of a predicament. It seems that New York City has been overrun by a terrifying virus that turns people into zombies almost instantly. Worse yet, it spreads like wildfire, as the zombies enable...

Some of the best gunning action you'll find for your PSP. Looks and sounds great

Gets a bit repetitive, and multiplayer is limited

Nothing says spreading the joys of Christmas than showing off a game that shows a killer virus taking its tolls on a store Santa Claus and making him go insane, lobbing explosive presents all over the place. It sounds like something out of a Roger...

Thus far in 2005 we have not seen Sony's new Playstation Portable find much success with either first party or third party titles. It seems as

In the end, Infected for the PSP is just one solid game that I think fans of action/horror games are really going to enjoy. The game has a good light-hearted story, a solid multiplayer experience, and a decent single player experience, all of which add...

Product Specifications

It's Christmas time in New York City. A strange virus has appeared in the city, turning seemingly normal people into insane, violent Infected. Rookie Officer Stevens is one of the first victims of the Infected. But unlike others, Stevens is strangely immune and doesn't lose control. The mysterious Dr. Schaeffer discovers that Stevens' immune blood can be used to destroy the otherwise unkillable Infected. Schaeffer creates a special "viral gun" that fills shells with blood from Stevens' arm and blasts them straight into the Infected, causing them to splat spectacularly. Stevens is the only person who can save New York - and Christmas - from the Infected!
