Metal Gear Acid 2

An improvement over the first, but it is still a card game that fans will either love or hate.

If you are a fan of the first, you will be happy to know that you can import a card from the first MGA title. If you are a photo fanatic, you can take the photos shot in Subsistence and view them on the PSP, and what's more in 3D! There is a...

Another Ac!d Trip

Metal Gear Ac!d 2 is a not only a sequel that is better than its predecessor, it is also one of the better games on the PSP. This is a card based strategy game, but it still involves action and thought. Ac!d 2 is everything Ac!d 1 should have been. The...

Metal Gear Acid 2

Konami thinks outside of the box in this sequel, in part by giving you a box to look into.

Control of Snake is more real-time than before; near double the cards and the ability to upgrade them; new graphical direction is appreciated

Without cinemas and voiceovers, the story is once again a snoozer; you can't help but wonder how cool a third-person action/adventure starring Snake would've been on PSP

Metal Gear Acid 2 Review

Hideo Kojima may be prepping MGS4, but Acid 2 should hold you over until PS3 is here.

Metal Gear Acid 2 may not be the full-on action opus that so many fans of the series clearly wanted, and it'll still have those skeptics that just don't get the pleasure of drawing a battle card and then watching it be acted out. But it is a...

Refined gameplay fixes original's flaws; superb use of 3-D gimmick

Some still may not like the card-battle system

I've said it before, and I'm going to go ahead and say it again, even though I sound like some kind of physics professor. You mess with a successful formula and you're bound to run into a sea of complaints. Take Metal Gear Acid, for example. Instead of...

In THREEEEE DEEEEEEE

The storyline is still something that remains to be seen (unless you know Japanese and want to import the game, since it's already hit there), but we won't have to wait much longer for a translated copy of our very own, and then it'll be updated...

Metal Gear Acid 2 Review

I was never a very big fan of the Metal Gear series on the consoles. I really didn't have much in the way of patience - I would never wait long enough and some enemy would shoot me to bits or call hundreds of his buddies to, well, shoot me to bits.

In the end, the game comes out as nothing more than average. Fans of the Metal Gear universe will want to pick this one up as will those that enjoyed the first game. If you are looking to try out the series, this is definitely the better version. If...

Can a Game Get Better Then This?

Madden NFL 2007 is easily the best football game made in the past ten years. It has everything you are looking for and more. For instance, the game has this cool new thing called QB vision. It is when you are a Quarterback and your throwing the ...

Metal Gear Acid 2

While Metal Gear Acid 2's gameplay isn't fast, it's deep and offers enough appeal to keep you coming back for more.

Engaging, ever-changing gameplay ; Good graphics

Becomes difficult quickly ; Some early instructions are confusing

Overall, the graphics are stunning, and the turn-based gameplay offers a unique twist on the familiar Metal Gear format. The multiplayer mode is engaging, and the entire title is absorbing. Though it doesn't take long before you begin to develop...
