Myst

 

A while ago I reviewed the DS port of Myst, a dire experience which I thought would taint the legacy of the game forever, and yet when I recently got an iPod Touch it was the first game I found myself downloading. Hoping to get the bad taste of the DS...

Nice graphics; interface couldn't be simpler; same great backstory and enjoyable, challenging puzzles to discover; capably replicates the original Myst experience on a mobile device

Sound could be better; small screen size does include some control limitations; some taxing puzzles even for experienced players

This is Myst, pure and simple: a must for any adventure fan who owns an iPhone/iPod Touch, and a good introduction for anyone who hasn't played this classic game before.

Myst (PSP)

 

I've wanted to play this game since it first came out 12 years ago. Sadly, it looks like the PSP version is a straight port of that 12 year old game - no changes made at all. Graphically, it's just not engaging nowadays as it looks very dated and speed...

This games doesnt make the jump to the PSP!

 

It was good a long time ago on a PC that was very slow - but very disappointing on the PSP of today!
