N+ Review

Simple and satisfying, N+ will give any platforming purist a run for their money.

Simple gameplay, sleek aesthetic, two-player mode, tons of downloadable goodies, and old-school platforming fun

uber precise gameplay; relatively short

Idiotic menu issues aside, N+ still provides a great value and tons of fun for anyone who picks it up. With over 40 different levels and a near-endless supply of downloadable user-generated content, it's hard to not see the value in such a simple and...

Who needs weapons?

A whole lotta game ; Fantastic multiplayer ; Great level editor

Bouncing difficulty ; Extremely repetitive music ; Visuals could've been improved

The drawbacks are minimal, including some uneven difficulty and graphics that look as if they were ported directly from the DS. Had to be said - but the N+ experience is preserved and pleasant as always. Plus, you’ve got 2-player infrastructure and...

Shove a ninja in your pocket as the popular Flash game hits the big time.

Tons of levels; challenging and addictive; creating your own levels and swapping them online

The simple graphics aren't for everybody; awful music; it can be pretty darn hard

It may not be an easy game, but N+ is certainly addictive, and its design makes it a fantastic portable game. In addition to the single-player challenge, the community aspect supplied by the level editor means that the dedicated player will be flipping...

N+ Sony PSP Review

Part of the challenge comes from avoiding threats. Not only must you contend with mines along the walls, ceiling and floors, but you also have to avoid sniper rifles, automated drones, missile launchers and other dangers. The time ticks away on you as...

Terrific and challenging gameplay, excellent game design and music, you have the ability to create and share levels with other players

Game Sharing takes a little longer on the PSP, some levels are ludicrously difficult, design tool isn't nearly as nice as the one for Nintendo DS

He left his mark on Xbox Live Arcade and the Nintendo DS, and now the nameless ninja strikes the Sony PSP with N+, Atari's latest budget-priced offering. In the game, you control the nimble black figure as he jumps from maze to maze, activating doors...

There's not a lot of middle ground when it comes to N+; it will either remind you of everything you loved about classic 2D platformers ... or dredge up the nightmares of everything you hate. It's a game that requires near perfect jump controls, a light...

It may not be the best looking game on the PSP, but N+ proves that it can more than hang with the big boys. Atari's newest action game features hundreds of levels, downloadable content, compelling multiplayer levels, a level creator and much, much more...

The flash game N, which features a simple graphical style on a complex physics engine, has been reworked into a retail release called N+ with some optional visual enhancements and a number of other features. The game is coming next month for PSP and...

N+ hands-on preview

So can't wait to get this.

N+ plays great on the PSP, and the segmented nature of the game lends itself especially well to the portable platform. In only two week's time, this game will be hitting store shelves here in the US, and I can tell you right now that it belongs on most...

N+ - Review

N+ takes the platform game back to its roots, focusing on the core gameplay elements that were established during the genre's genesis on computers in the early 80s. Even the game's look has a decidedly retro feel, with simple and minimalistic graphics...

N+ demonstrates that simple but solid gameplay can make for a fun and challenging game.

Product Specifications

You are a ninja in N+. Your god-like speed, dexterity, jumping power, and reflexes are all the result of an amazingly fast metabolism; sadly, so is your natural lifespan of 1.5 minutes. Like all Ninjas, you have an unquenchable thirst for gold and a natural propensity for exploring rooms infested by increasingly lethal Ninja-killing robots. N emphasizes pacifism, humility, and the need to traverse 5 rooms before the end of your lifetime; a feat known only as 'beating an episode'. In accordance with the teachings of N, it is your profound hope that one day you will develop your platforming skills, intelligence, and inexplicable ability to reincarnate to achieve total mastery of all 300 levels.
