A little self-awareness can go a long way. Grip Games knows only too well that most of what we play is terrifyingly cliched nonsense that's been covered a thousand times over.

One Epic Game stands out amongst the sea of minis as an original concept with great production values. You'll spend a lot of time restarting the levels, but you always want to come back for more.

This referential comedy feels tired, falls flat every single time, and isn't helped by some inherently poor joke construction
