Patapon

A funky visual vibe mashed up with a unique, rhythm based control scheme

Team mates have quirky characteristics, minimalist control scheme and captivating essence ;

If you're rhythmically challenged you may find this hard to play ;

Though the tempo is forever constant, the music becomes more and more elaborate as your forces get into the groove, simultaneously helping you with staccato chants and hindering you with off-beat embellishments and free-form vocal breaks. How well you...

Patapon

Pon-pon-pata-pon...the Patapons need your rhythmic help, Almighty one!

The most enjoyable and original PSP game in ages. Patapon is a little too tricky to be perfect, but also it's deeper and more rewarding long-term than you might suspect.

Patapon

Patapon is a weird hybrid of a real-time strategy and a rhythm game; it's most outstanding feature is the way it blurs the line between the two vastly different genres, forming a union that feels both natural and profound to the point that you'll be...

While Patapon doesn’t have a lot of replay value, for what it’s worth it does have an extremely unique (and fun) experience in store for anyone who dares fill the shoes of Al Mighty. If you like games such as Loco Roco, this one's certainly worth a shot.

Excellent Game

For a quirky game, refreshing new game this is the one to beat. This goes up there with LOCO ROCO as some of most fun and addicting gameplay. PATA PATA PATA PON makes your little guys march into battle!

A very addictive and fun game

Pon Pon Pata Pon

It is obvious that a game about little eyeballs with legs brandishing spears and arrows will not be to everyone's taste, but it has to be said that this is a brilliant game.

Pata Pata Pata Pon!

If you have played LocoRoco, then get this. The graphics are beautiful and simple. The aim of the game is controlling an army of patapons with a drum beat. You hunt to get more meat and doing the levels will reward you with a new type of unit and...

Its uses the rhythm method

Just when you think that it's impossible to come up with something original, along comes PATAPON. Very simple game with a clever approach to playing it. For starters, it's an arcade combat game where you give commands to the little guys, but this is...
