Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords

Puzzle Quest is a brilliant idea. Take Bejeweled, toss in RPG elements and a semi-random story, port it to every system known to man and there you go, an inexpensive-to-produce game that basically works out to digital crack. I don't know which warlords...

Puzzle Quest is just plain great. If you own a PSP, you need Puzzle Quest.

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords

RPG + Bejeweled = Great Fun. Wait what?

All in all, Puzzle Quest is a mustown for PSP owners across the map. It's highly accessible and equally enjoyable to the RPG or puzzle nut in anyone. The animeinspired art style looks great on the PSP, along with the special effects that appear on the...

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords

I like puzzle games – never been afraid to say that. When Puzzle Quest came along, I naturally wanted to play it and see what it was about. Anybody familiar with puzzle games understand the “matching” style of gameplay, where similar to the popular...

RPG elements add a lot of depth to the already solid gameplay ; Plenty of variety in how to play ; Lengthy campaign

A tad difficult for "casual" gamers ; No online multiplayer ; Odd slowdows and pauses

One of the better games of the year so far. Puzzle fans looking for a bit of depth should go pick this up.

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords review for the PSP

A casual obsession.

Deep, complex RPG; Tons of items and strategies; Addictive; Lots of variations

That are all Bejeweled; Lackluster presentation

My wife, Miranda, can play Bejeweled or this Puzzle Bobble clone for hours, while my eyes start glazing over in boredom after about five minutes. Clearly this is the difference between the "hardcore" and the "casual" gamer. It's not that there's...

Bejeweled + RPG = Addiction

Puzzle Quest will kick your ass and you'll love every second of it. Trust us.

I've never been so happy to be so angry with a game. The peanut butter/chocolate combo took this long to be combined why, now? You know what, it doesn't matter. You need this game -- even if you think you don't. Just be ready with the blood pressure meds.

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords

Puzzle Quest is the most brazenly addictive puzzle game we've played in a long time.

Merges aspects of multiple genres into a well crafted puzzle gaming experience

A couple annoying bugs made their way into the retail version of the game

Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords

The parts may seem commonplace, but Puzzle Quest's blend of RPG and puzzle-game convention makes for something refreshingly unique and dangerously addictive.

RPG context adds depth to familiar puzzle gameplay ; Puzzle gameplay makes traditional RPG structure way more addictive ; Lush soundtrack ; Main quest is ridiculously long

Enemies can be frustrating, even early on ; Pauses briefly at random

The appeal of Puzzle Quest for fans of either RPGs or puzzle games is quite obvious, as it does a great job of scratching two distinctly different types of itches simultaneously. What's most remarkable about Puzzle Quest, though, is how a simple change...

So How Many Scrabble Points Is Xoquoxxotil Worth? - Untold Legends

The Sony PSP had a lot of familiar and formidable titles available at launch, but one of the most popular of that original batch of games was not a sequel or remake, but instead a whole new franchise, in the hack & slash RPG Untold Legends: Brotherhood...

Incredibly long quest for a portable game, 4 player wireless co-op rocks hard

The quest is basically a series of fetching missions. Woof
