An unexpected surprise

Instead of controlling just one craft you're given ownership of an entire armada that grows and develops as the game progresses. The ultimate aim remains the same however: the total obliteration of the malevolent Bydo Empire

Don't go into Tactics hoping for R-Type's signature fast-paced action because you won't find it. However, if you're looking for an accessible strategy experience then this should be your next purchase.

this game is terrible and will last u about 1 min . and thats watching the intro. if u mind playing r-type then u will mind hours of fun shooting aliens. and this is like chess, u take 1 move then the cpu takes another . and thats it ...

Great series ruined


What have they done to R-Type?! This game is nothing like the original games. Its not your usual R-Type game it is a turn based game and simply does not work. The original games were great fun, this is boring. Place a craft on the screen and then watch...
