Secret Agent Clank Review

Ratchet's buddy goes all 007 in this latest adventure to hit Sony's handheld...

Strong variety in the gameplay ; Decent side-missions ; Slick presentation

A tad short ; Fans may not like the mix of gameplay ; Controls can be a little fiddly

An endearing and compelling adventure that throws in a more than enough variety in its campaign and side-missions, Secret Agent Clank is a must have title for PSP owners as much as Chains of Olympus was. Consider it as more of a spin-off to the...

Secret Agent Clank Review

In last year's Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, the crate-breaking duo landed on the PS3 with an amazing action platformer; polished to perfection and overflowing with the series' trademark comedic style, it was like a playable Pixar...

Clank is not without it's faults, though. As much as we enjoy seeing the series evolve, it does try a bit too hard to offer a variety-filled experience. The result sometimes breaks the pacing, leaving you feeling like you're playing through a...

Ratchet's robot buddy steps into a tuxedoed spy caper. Is he cool as Connery or a Dalton-esque dud?

Clever Clank gadgets ; Wacky Captain Quark levels ; Gadgetbot puzzle bits

Ratchet's levels ; Too-close camera ; Too much rhythm-action

Secret Agent Clank review for the PSP

The Name is Bot… James Bot.

Great, all-around gameplay; Great mix of mini-games; Nice visuals; Fun guns and gadgets

Groan-worthy one-liners

For his first time stepping out from under Ratchet's… er, forepaw, Clank does a good job of running the show. I'm not sure if he's ready for a solo career or anything, but he certainly has a brighter future than Andrew John Ridgeley. You know, that...

Secret Agent Clank

Forever the loyal robotic sidekick, Clank has finally landed his very own game.

Besides the story, there are a number of optional stages within the game which occasionally become available, such as Ratchet arena, racing, and whatnot. These are mostly used for earning massive amounts of bolts which can then be used to purchase...

Secret Agent Clank - Review

Ratchet and Clank's first outing on the PSP played much like they're other games, only the overall game was shrunk down to fit the PSP (as the title suggested). Now in Secret Agent Clank, Ratchet takes a backseat to his buddy Clank, who takes on the...

Secret Agent Clank brings a variety of fun gameplay to the PSP and it still has the same Ratchet and Clank feel that will keep series fans happy.

Secret Agent Clank (PSP) - Gameplanet Review

Not your usual Ratchet & Clank game, and although an interesting departure from the 'insane action' formula, it can quickly become an exercise in frustration. It's a good game, but one that will require patience to master.

Some good looking graphics and interesting environments to challenge and puzzle your way through

Camera angles and controls make this game harder than it should be. The accelerated difficulty level and infrequent save points can make it frustrating

One for the fans.

Love him or loathe him, there is no denying that James Bond is versatile. In fact, the man can do it all; whether it be skiing, scuba-diving, free-running or battling metal-mouthed freaks in space, and all while thinking of a cheeky one-liner and...

Secret Agent Clank (PSP) review

Metal Gear Clank gets his own sneaking mission.

Don’t worry there’ll be another PSP platformer along soon that we can hate. For now we have to live with the fact we liked Secret Agent Clank, it’s not our fault it’s a good game. Bloody developers and their making of good things.
