Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron Review


Two years after the Battlefront 2 wars started, the series returns on the PSP with a host of new features and online play...

The inclusion of Infrastructure play ; Nice character customisations ; More depth to the single player

The controls are still uninspiring ; The maps lack detail ; Gameplay can get a bit repetitive

Renegade Squadron brings the Battlefront series on the PSP up to the level that we all would've liked it to have been two years ago with Battlefront 2. For fans of the series who want some action on the go, it might well be worth a look.

Game is lacking somewhat in graphics, sound effects and game play

Despite its shortcomings, Renegade Squadron remains an enjoyable third-person shooter. The variety of content and options more than carry its somewhat shallow and repetitive game play and unimpressive visuals. If you don't mind a somewhat simplistic...
