Z.H.P.: Unlosing Ranger Vs. Darkdeath Evilman Review

Z.H.P.: Unlosing Ranger Vs. Darkdeath Evilman is the newest strategy RPG from the Nippon Ichi. Prepare for awesomeness.

I feel confident in saying, this is a great game. Will it appeal to everyone? No, this is definitely for people who enjoy roguelikes such as Azure Dreams and the Mystery Dungeon series. If you like those types of games, Unlosing Ranger will provide you...

ZHP: Unlosing Ranger Vs Darkdeath Evilman

The ongoing evolution of the Ranger is the central theme of the game, and there are positive as well as negative aspects to this. What the player has to watch out for is dying in the same way or to the same monster, because that will cause the Ranger...

The minds behind SRPG staple Disgaea bring players an excellent entry point to the rougelike genre, but more seasoned dungeon crawlers might find this zany adventure a bit too easy.

Amusing parodies and humor, lots of fun gimmicks that add variety, serves as a good introductory title to the roguelike genre

May be too easy for hardcore roguelike fans, some of the jokes tend to fall flat

If anyone can take a concept and run far away with it, it's got to be NIS. Ever since Disgaea crashed upon the US shores back in 2003 there has been a yearly title that uses core mechanics from the Disgaea universe and builds upon them. Sometimes with...

With a goofy story, an epic battle, an insane super powered baby, and great gameplay, Zettai Hero Project: Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman is a great addition to the NIS and PSP family.

Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman Review

Yes, the full name of this game is “Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger vs. Darkdeath Evilman,” but it's just so much easier to type “ZHP.” Besides, the latter doesn't give our database fits. Anyway, we continue the Nippon Ichi tradition of charming,...

Nippon Ichi Software is known for three things: offbeat stories that break the fourth wall and all barriers of reason, deep and customizable systems, and games that practically never end. Usually, though, they stay within the turn-based strategy RPG...

Ultimately, ZHP is a great little game for the PSP that doesn't take itself too seriously. In other words - it's what people have come to expect from a NIS America.
