well worth the $
First day out thisdetector saved me on the interstate with plenty of warning. Factory setting gets more quite as you get closer to the source. I like it screaming at me as I get closer. Easy change of setting fixes the problem. Do get some falsing but rem...

"Seems to have pretty good range. I like the ease of use and doesn't give too many false alerts."

"Not a bad little unit. Voice is terrible though. Also wish it had a rotary volume control like my escort - much easier to find when you need to quiet it quickly. But overall it does alert when needed. ;-)"
