Great performance for a detector in this price range. Detects pretty much everything out there. The full color display is nice and easy to read in daylight and the dimming feature is perfect for low light conditions.

In my area I get a lot of false positives which isn't unexpected but I generally run in city mode even when I'm on the highway. Its not enough to be irritating though, just noticeable.

Where i live all cops use is LIDAR and thats it. Noone here uses radar guns anymore. Oh well.

Will Detect red lights and radar very well. Voice warning is nice.

If the cop has radar off and normally they do. You are done for.

I had a Cobra 9440 before this; it didn't detect anything, ever. Do yourself a favor and start with this one.

Picks up all cops, so long as they are running radar. Detects POP radar around 1/2 mile away, as far as I can tell.
