Sangean-RCR-5 - Clock radio

I fall asleep listening to the radio; use the alarm and then listen to the radio in the morning. It gets local stations clearly that other radios we have had did not get clearly or not at all.

This radio does not pick up a single AM station here in Phoenix. The 15 year old Panasonic I am replacing had no problem, nor does my Sangean pocket radio. Since AM is important to me, I am returning the product.

Sound quality is a gentle but a little too muted. I can't figure out how to turn alarm settings off, now that I've turned them on.
