Great A/V receiver, but needs upgrades

I bought this receiver directly from Adcom. I am using a Toshiba HD-AX1, (6) Magnepan MC-1 (dual mono center), a 50" SXRD display, Klipsch RSW-10 sub, Comcast HD cable, and Blue Jeans cables.

Delicious sounding; configurable inputs and outputs; robust amplifiers; easy to use menus

lacks bass/treble controls and parametric eq commonly found at this pricepoint; somewhat flaky HDMI pass through switching

High current to drive 4Ohms or less; excellent sound reproduction and sound stage

power of separates - features of AV receiver - lrg transformer - upscaling

front panel difficult to read from a distance - limited distributors - demos difficult

looks cool sounds adequate

High price: don't pay more than $800 or $900 for one
