RE: Buyer Beware

Like any other home automation solution, it has glitches but most of them have been worked out. Most of the problems I have seen is that they like DHCP Reservations, aka static ip's done through the DHCP. That makes the memo much more useable and stable.

Ok, so I see a lot of negative reviews and they are do mostly because people do not know how to properly reset them. The process takes 2-3 minutes and must be done exactly as stated. Plugin the Wemo, press the reset button until it flashes Orange/Blue....

Sometimes if they aren't used a lot, they can freeze up. RMA if this happens or wait for the next firmware update

Works great..

Works fine, once in a while you have to just shut app off and re-open it - but that happens only if you have to change a rule

not for free.. :)

a bit expensive, but works good

It works as supposed to be working but considering the price it seems a bit expensive specially if you need more than one to handle diffrent devices separately

Works on multiple devices

I have the latest firmware update and it seems to work just fine on two devices. The instructions are minimal in the box, only online. It has a lot of potential that hopefully Belkin will follow through with software updates.

Expensive but works

Expensive switch but it does the job. Don't use it much, only to turn off a whole house ventilation system when I see a dust storm approaching and I'm at work. Once it wouldn't turn the device back on so had to manually turn it on. I just now tested it...

It's OK.

I bought this because I wanted to control a set of lights from my phone before i walked into the house. That seems to work really well. However, when I'm connected to the same wireless router you have to keep refreshing to find all the devises at once....

Seems to work so far

I had some initial problems with installation. The device did not want to connect to my router until I changed the WiFi channel. It then connected and updated the firmware successfully. It works well with my call phone. The documentation is a work in...

I pick up one of these to test them out.I loved the idea of controlling a device remotely via my smartphone. Here is why i returned it:The switch worked initially, but only from one device (more on this later). The switch immediately prompted for a...
