Jeff Rowland Design Group Consonance Preamplifiers

I see the only other review is dated 2000 - which is a pity. So I'm writing this for those of you who are really, really doing your homework.

ME Sound ME 850 Amplifiers

I am the third owner of this wondeful amplifier. I can't vouch for its age, but according to owner no2 it is late 90s. This version is upgradable to 450,000 microfarad storage (275,000 as is). Current capability is 70amps.

Pioneer Elite VSX-84TXSi - (A/V Receivers)

Pioneer Elite gear gets more attainable and less "elite" with each passing year. In the days of Laserdisc players, though, the Pioneer Elite CLD-97 could run you $2,500. Thank you sir, may I have another!

Marantz PM-82 Integrated Amplifiers

Pretty good device I would say. Precision clarity, so huge sound... One of the best amplifiers I have ever had. I have had PM80 MkII - stil having my son. But in other way, son is having most better floorstand speakers than me now .. :-)

STR - DB 798

I have been doing a market research in AV Receivers over a period of 6 months. After going through reviews and specs, i finally settled down with this receiver. While Denon, Onkyo were similar in quality, they are simply muscled out by Sony when it...

Terk FM-4000 FM Edge Amplified Indoor FM Antenna

The Terk Edge really works. It was very easy to install. I am now pulling in stations that were very difficult to hear clearly. Only one New York City station is still problematic but I rarely listen to it anyway. Give it a try.

Pioneer VSX-D811S

I'm a retro Pioneer collector. I like the look and sound of older Pioneer stereos, especially the 'silver-faced' VSX-series receivers. The silver-faced receivers were made in the early 2000's, then Pioneer changed to producing 'black-faced' receivers....

Cyrus 7

Brought this second hand in 2003 for 200 pound UK. It currently drives a pair of Celestion A1's and source is normally a Cyrus DVD8 used as a CD player. DVD8 sounds amazing with CD's - better than my Sony CDP-XB920 which is no slouch itself.
