ART Phantom II Pro

This unit does just what I needed. I use it for overhead mics on my drums and other mics in my home studio. The right item at the right price and quality that I needed. Couldn't be more pleased.

Vincent SP-998

I was fortunate to purchase the Vincent SP-998 mono blocks brand new for half retail Aus$3,000 (RRP $6,000). These are easily worth double there full retail price. They are the best Power Amps I have heard in over 40 years of audio.

The setup wasn't a deal breaker for me since i did research prior and was fully aware of having to use component cables. I can see someone being very upset if they setup everything w/ HDMI and then realized you had to use component cables. Plus that...

Adcom GFA-545MKII Amplifiers

Have two of these that I bought used and recapped. They push four 10" DVC subwoofers @ 8ohms. They both sounded great when I bought them but I wanted to be sure they would have enough umph for subs. I also have a GFA-2535 that I use to drive 1" silk...

This set is exactly what I wanted, the keyboard layout is good for multimedia. The only cons is the lack of led, they are replaced by a piece of software that displays the keys status on screen. This takes off one star for this otherwise great product.

NAD 216THX Amplifiers

Hello, I'm using this amp with some older Magnepan MGIIIa's. It drives them very well and with great authority. The sound is very "tubey" sounding to me. I really like it. It puts me in almost a trance of sorts. It allows me to melt into the music and...

Peavey PV 2600

I have 4 of them and use them in a restaurant bar setting and they work great. For installs with long runs to speakers the PV 2600 is much better than PV1500.

NuForce P 8

Which preamp sounds more musical? The answer depends on your priorities. The Metis is arguably more magical and involving in the midrange and treble region, and it provides an onboard mm phonostage. On the other hand, the P8 is quieter, more flexible,...

I think AMC was a bunch of NAD guys. The amps appear to be underrated to me. 45 watts sounds more like 60 or 75 from other mfgs.

A superb amplifier but that will only be revealed if you use high quality speakers and sources. Construction is solid and inspires confidence that you will never need that 20 year warranty. There is a definite tactile pleasure in operating the controls.
