Pioneer VSX-9140TXH

This receiver has the most confusing specs, advertised as 150 watts per channel (in store) or even 180 (on web)!!! But really only 110 into 8 ohms. I will review this receiver after a couple of weeks of use.

Crosley CR221 Audio Shelf System

It's a fine radio, warm sound from the small wooden cabinet. Tuner is precise. Antenna seems like it will last a while.

Lingo Noaa-740 Noaa Weather Radio

I found this to be difficult to program. It seems that you have to be a "rocket scientist" to do so. I purchased another similar radio instead and it is much easier to program.

Sonus Faber Musica

Yes Sonus faber makes an amp. Yes, it comes in a wood case and has the same Italian hand craftsmanship that you'd expect from their wonderful speakers. Does it pack the audio power of Mark Levinson, Krell or ARC? Read the review to find out....

Marshall Amplification MG100DFX Combo - 100 Watt Electric Guitar Amplifier

I have a Marshall TSL combo. It's the ultimate biz, but for practice it's a bit like playing Concord in the living room, and the cost of revalve jobs does tend to mount up. So how's about one of these trannies for everyday, save the beastie for evening...
