Seems great.

Would love to see this tech for less than $40, but for the price, this is pro gear.

Six emitter ports with 2 blasters on each port means this IR could conceivably drive a whole rack of 12 pieces of equipment (Comes with 4, add'l blasters come separately)

Only one IR receiver, so it will only work in one room (TV), with a rack of equipment in another room. Keep in mind, total cable length is about 9 feet for the blasters, 9 feet for the receiver = 18 feet total, with the box in between

It works great! I was concerned that my Plasma TV might cause it some problems, but I located the sensor away from the TV and have had no problems. I can now operate all equipment with the cabinet doors closed

Not recommended for Marantz products

The unit works as advertised, however I do have a couple issues. 1) I could not get the repeater working with my Marantz equipment. I have called support and they do have problems with Marantz. Most probably a signal flooding issue.2) The first...

works great!

works great even with a Comcast DCX3400 and Samsung BlueRay Player

was worrisome at first because I couldn't get the DVR to work. I took the faceplate off the DVR and put emitter right on the receptor without it working. I checked online and didn't see anything good... so, as a last-ditch effort, I moved the emitter a...

Works great

I have my A/V components in a storage room behind the wall on which my Sony LED TV is mounted. The IR receiver is small and I stuck it to the bottom of the TV (hardly noticeable.) I passed the one cable through the wall along with HDMI, Cat5 cables...

As advertised - works great

Arrived quickly, setup easily (make sure you check the manual for the location of the ir reciever on the component), and works!

The price seemed to good to be true.

I selected the free shipping offer, rather than the expedited versions of two or three days. The package was shipped FEDEX as soon as they got the order. The hardest job was finding the sensor locations on my stereo and DVR.It's nice to have our...

Perfect!!!!

Not only did it work exactly as advertised and simple to set up but it even improved the sensitivity of the remotes. I highly recommend this device to anyone that wants to hide several pieces of equipment in a cabinet or closet(you just need a way to...

Interference in some situations

Equipment is in a wall unit with doors near the TV. With doors open, the signal from the repeater interferes with the direct signal received (perhaps it comes a millisecond later and confuses my equipment, I had to keep the remote signal pressed longer...

It just works as designed.

I extended the IR receiver another 35 feet with a stereo headphone extender cable and plugged it in. There were some bad reviews so I was skeptical, however it works PERFECTLY even with an LCD TV. (Not Plasma)The IR Receiver blinks blue when it gets...

Product Specifications

Does your entertainment system have wooden doors or would you like to mount your components in a closet? Without a clear line of sight infrared (IR) signals from a remote control will not reach the equipment. Cables to Go has the answer. The remote control repeater kit contains all equipment necessary to remotely operate 4 components (expandable to 12 components) using your standard remotes. Mount the IR receiver in a central location and connect to the IR distribution block. This block repeats the signals through emitters to your electronic components. Your components may now be mounted in your entertainment center, closet or another room! The kit is self-contained and easy to connect. With this kit you may mount a receiver in a convenient place on or near your entertainment system. The receiver has a 9 foot cable that is then attached to the repeater system that is mounted in your entertainment cabinet. The kit includes 4 emitters. These emitters are connected from the repeater system and placed over the IR receiver of the equipment. Simple installation and hook up while using your existing remotes.
