Chumby 8 (black)

The Chumby 8 deserves a beer. As does Chumby Industries. After years of struggling through the growing pains of their beanbag years and an adolescent identity crisis under the Sony Dash and Insignia Infocast brands, both the company and its product...

The Chumby 8 packs photos, music, apps, and a new Web browser behind an affordable 8-inch touch screen

As a digital photo frame, it's overdone. As a pseudotablet, it's too slow. As an Internet radio alarm clock, it's too expensive

The Chumby 8 is the best and biggest Chumby yet, but tablet and smartphone owners may find its features redundant and its speed lacking.

"I Loved my Chumby until today when the company died."

Don't Buy One now, the company went under and it's no longer a great product to own.

It had is all! Music, Games, Weather, News, Sports, Twitter, Facebook and I could go on and on.

The company dropped the building of any new ones and the website is down. The employees all left for another company and it looks like the Chumby is now just a paper weight.

"Great until Chumby.com went down"

I like the Internet music options most, while occasionally I'll use it for video and photos.

Chumby.com is down... once you reset your Chumby it wont come back until it can connect to Chumby.com.
