A heavy burden on the wallet that few will be able to carry ; Rudimentary video processing features and no up scaling ; Some slight fit up issues but on an unusual case geometry

Classé SSP 800

I have had my SSP 800 for over a year now, it was the original design without onboard DH Audio codecs decoding, but have since installed the free upgraded DSP board and firmware.

Superb sound for both movies and music. Built in DACs eliminate the need for external DACs or expensive players. Menu layout is simple and effective. Excellent value when compared against other high end processors

Price, this is not entry level. Lack of Audessy or auto calibration for some people could be a problem. Lack of Video processing may bother others
