I purchased this item approximately 3 weeks ago to use with my IPOD Nano in the car. It does charge the IPOD, but does does not make anything close to a tolerable connection on any frequency.

I'm not sure if it's the location or the product, but I get "white noise" often.

I am going to keep this product bc it does have a decent reception (little to no static) if you find the right station. However, it does not charge the Ipod Touch 2G. I believe that you can overcharge the ipod and kill the battery; especially if you...
