I would recommend this to any

Price not a bad price for the heart of a sound system ; HDMI inputs. I don't even need that many, but I am glad I have them for the future. There are enough inputs to run my entire house through this thing ; Sound quality is very nice backed by some...

Remote- not a big deal I have a Logitech Harmony anyways so the remote gets thrown in the junk drawer. My harmony actually controls it better that the remote it comes with. I have a button programmed for Night Mode. Thank HK it has a dim feature. The...

Good receiver with great features

The receiver took a long time to figure out how to work all the features. Once I figured it out it works good. My biggest gripe is that there is no dedicated bluetooth button on the remote. You have to go through the on screen display which is fine if...

Decent system

Fairly easy to set up and sounds great. We bought this because of its network connectivity so we could use a tablet to control it. However, this has not worked and we have troubleshooter multiple things.

Very Sad to see the route that Harman Kardon has taken. A lackluster limited onscreen display was the first drawback to this receiver. The limited controls were the second. By then I had had enough. The receiver doesn't allow much room for preference.

I've had other Harmon Kardon products before. Absolutely love their quality in sound and product. Ive had their older 7.1 non HD reciever and never had an issue. Same goes for this new one

Below the average for that price range

After reading reviews and announcements for months, I got the Harman Kardon 1710 and the Sony STR-DN1040 7.2 Channel 1155-Watt A/V Receiver - I liked both so I decided to buy them, test them for few days and then return one. I have to say the Sony is a...

Great receiver with great quality

Good receiver, it has a lot of HDMI and other outputs and inputs, so you can connect everything you want. Don't like remote control, its very light and looks cheap
