Value-Friendly - Loud - Proud

For the price, and the size convenience the JVC was surprisingly good. The "USB Wireless" - wifi aspect did not work well when you had other wireless devices near it, so I chose mostly analog signals to digital conversion. The DTS setting beat out the...

I liked the fact that it behaved with my Logitech Harmony Remote beautifully. The physical size was a convenience. The remote was easy to learn, and the speaker/room setup was pretty simple

Would shut off at the over 31 volume setting. I play my music VERY loud sometimes, and then all of a sudden it would shut off. I blew like 3 speakers with this amp. (cheap), and the Polk R50's only lost the tweeters

Amazing deal

You can't beat it for the price. My only complaint, which is a big one, is it doesn't have hdmi. There is no issue with power. It does get HOT, but we have ran it for many nights for 7 hours or more at full blast for parties off pandora and it holds...

a lot of power. Runs well for a long time. I'm running 5.1 Boston. Lg Front Med Back. I stream from Pandora thru my laptop and the usb port without issue. I have used the bluetooth a couple times but it will interfere with keyboard and mouse

It gets hot, Very hot. No hdmi

Great value

As has been said in other reviews, If you have never set up a surround receiver before, get help. The manual is not much help. You also need to give the unit plenty of breathing room as it does get warm. Vents heat from the sides so it does not fit too...

Good sound, wireless computer connection, price, styling

Remember the analog/digital button

If you understand AV equipment installation shouldn't be a problem for you. If not, call someone who does and give them a copy of this review (and a 12 pack).

The sound (even running 5.1), All the settings

The Manual is almost useless

Pretty good for the money

This is a surprisingly adaptable device for the money. I got it at Fry's for $285.00 because it was a return item. I figured out why after I started to set the thing up. The instructions are velly pooly translated from Japanese, and not very detailed...

Flexable with good sound decoding

case design not well considered, bad manual

Complicated w/ conflicts

I bought this because the instore sound was fantastic. I'm sure that was impart to the very expensive speakers they had. When I got it home I went through the manual to make sure everything was done right. The manual is very general, and doesnt allow...

Other than noted above I would rate this as an above average Receiver. I am happy with the sound right without changing anything. It seems to give you total control of sound settings which is a must setting up a Home Theater System.

Great Receiver.I had in running in wireless USB in about 15 minutes out of the box. Plays all music from my computer to receiver without any noticable distrotion. Did not even conflict with my wireless network. The remote easily learned my other...

The only con I can note at this time is with be the fact that there is no in put for a CD player. It has in puts for a VCR that is almost obsolete. Why no input for a CD Player
