Marantz AV7005 Surround Processor and MM7055 Amplifier

Are you weighed down by a boat anchor of an expensive, powerful, but obsolete A/V receiver that doesn't have HDMI inputs or processing for the latest lossless audio formats? You're not alone. Everybody's been burned by fast-moving technological change....

Lousy Amplifier

At 140 Watts per channel is very week. My Onkyo AVR TX-NR3010 outputs 170 Watts per channel. Also, it doesn't have an IR Receiver and can't be used with a universal remote. Major mistake buying it. My fault!

Great Amp

I just replaced my old Adcom power and with this Marantz. I have it paired with a Marantz AV7701 Pre Tuner. This is an awesome combination. I prefer the Multi Channel Stereo setting for music. Great warm sound.

powerful 5 channel end amplifier for home theatre systems ; works with variety of AV processors/receivers ; balanced inputs (XLR) practically eliminate EMI issues ; beautifully, simple design

the system requires additional MM7025 unit to be able to reproduce 7.1 ch. sound if required
