Marantz PM7200 Integrated Amplifiers

I own this amp for 5 years. I can say that I've tried many very expensive amplifier beams, but never ever would change the Marantz PM7200. It 'absolutely unbeatable as a unit stamp and airiness. The low cost is not at all associated with the quality....

I bought it used set for USD250. It's truly worth as you can play with the class A and class AB within a switch button. It is a very good set for the beginner and for me with Krell, Mark and Pass Labs owner, I cannot resist to buy one when I got the...

Marantz PM7200 Integrated Amplifiers

The PM7200 is one of the best kept secrets in audio of the last decade. This well-made integrated amp has never ceased to amaze me since I purchased it new five years ago. In Class A, the music takes on a watery, tube-like sound and still provides...

Marantz PM7200 Integrated Amplifiers

I have had this amp for just about 5 years now and I have never regretted buying it for one minute of that time. I have a modest system so I could never describe myself as an audiophile - Pink triangle PT1, Mission 774SM arm, Denon DL160 cart;...

Marantz PM7200 Integrated Amplifiers

This is a really interesting amplifier. It's quite large and imposing, but handsome. It's well featured with inputs for phono (MM only), CD, tuner, aux (x2) and two tape loops. It can run two sets of speakers with independent switching of each. The...

GREAT IN CLASS AB, EVEN BETTER IN CLASS A.

the fact that most of the popular hi fi press include this amp in their " buyers bible" or have given it an award, speaks for itself. Powerful, refined, and as one mag states, a giant killer

Build quality, sound, very reasonable price, 330 though, not 250 as it states elsewhere here.

Runs hot in class A,as any class A amp does.

FABULOUS AMP

Great amp, now hugely discounted by most dealers. If youre in the matket for a very good priced amp, look no further.

Definition, scale,build quality,class a operation.

Imho, there arent any apart from having to switch the unit off to get into/ out of class a mode.would you count running very warm in class a ,as a minus point?
