It's nice to see a reasonably priced preamp, but Advance Acoustic's MPP202 is too sonically flawed for us to recommend it

Low price ; colourful power meters ; relatively open sound

Dynamically deficient ; messy presentation ; lack of finesse and resolution

A severe lack of finesse Unfortunately, there’s something deeply unsatisfying about the sound.
