There's something about this box

This preamp completely trounced the two other preamps I purchased, one of them was from a major high street electronic retailer for £20 and the other had fancy gain, rumble filter and capacitance controls with clip and power LEDs - bought from an...

Good value basic phono pre-amp

Having read some of the previous reviews, I went ahead and purchased a Soundlab phono pre-amp - it also seems to come badged as Eagle, or Electrovision, like the one delivered to me. I am very pleased with its functionality and ease of use. I wanted to...

Soundlab Pre-Amp

I purchased this to go with my new Project Essential Turntable and it performs brilliantly with a 9v battery, but be warned, using a cheap multi voltage DC adapter will cause mains hum. If you wish to run this off the mains buy a REGULATED DC multi...

Playing records again

Like others, had a good amplifier that didn't play records, and wanted to start playing them again. Am using it with battery, and seems to work perfectly. There are lots of these devices on the market, and several that are much more expensive. This...
