Excellent Home Theater Receiver

I have now owned the Pioneer VSX-1121-k for almost a year. I upgraded from another Pioneer Receiver about 4 years old. The VSX-1016-k I had still worked great, but the surround processing and lack of HDMI options made it a little dated. I was very...

Extremely happy!!!

I had a Harman Kardon higher end stereo that was four years old (the kind with the blue knob) which quit working recently. I was very happy with the quality and sound from that amp but a little bummed it didn't last longer and HK wanted to much to...

Great at first, but BEWARE

While this may not considered a review, this is my experience with this unit. First let me say that when this unit works, it is great. The sound and iPad interface are my favorite features. That being said, this is my experience with this unit. I...

Died and then I was told to drop dead...

I ordered this receiver and while I was originally happy with the sound quality, the problems soon began. The LAN module was $167 and worked, maybe, 4 out or 10 times. The receiver itself died after 6 months. Pioneer customer service was a joke. But no...

Burned out after 6 months

Purchased this new on Amazon. Features were fine... when it lasted. The video card burned out after 6 months. It has now been at the repair shop for warranty repairs for 1 month, with no ETA for the repairs. Pioneer support has been unhelpful. I'm...

We are totally pleased with the whole transaction and product that we ordered. Pioneer has always been a superior products and it still remains one of the top receivers out there. We have told everybody about our purchase and how quickly the order was...

Most frustrating experience ever

I have a very good home network where I use both wired and wireless connections. The wired connections include my PC, Vonage, BD Player and this AVR. The wireless are iPod Touch, iPad, 2 smart phones and WII. All the devices except this Pioneer AVR...
