Not perfect, but best value

Receivers have come a long way since I bought my last one (Pioneer HTD510 HTIB). Though setup takes a while, this unit performs! First night I have it I have streaming vtuner and Pandora as well as from Windows 8 media server. Many audio settings are...

Power and sound quality ; Android/iphone app controllable ; Pandora/vtuner compatible ; Streams music from home media server ; Plays music/video from USB ; 6 HDMI inputs ; Optical/Coax inputs ; Auto calibration

Has some issues being detected by my Optoma projector, I have to switch to another input and back to HDMI to get it displaying ; GUI is painful to set up for networking, but this done only once. After that I use the Android app (Pioneer Controlapp)

What more can I ask for?

This thing has great sound and has held up quite well in my damp and cold garage for this past winter and am loving the rotating knob as a way to change inputs. Definitely a great job by Pioneer on this product

Everything checks out, however without the remote, some actions are difficult or impossible to perform. Very minor qualm

Great Sound

This unit has excellent sound quality and has a wide variety of features for its price. The remote control can be a little confusing and I still have not figured out all of its ins and outs. As a whole I am happy with my purchase. This product has......

The sound is phenomenal and it provides multiple outlets to and from other devices

It is a little hard to navigate through the controls compared to other units I have owned

Amazing Receiver at Amazing Price

Tried Yamaha receiver at first, then decided to try this one. Sound quality was so great, bass was deep and treble is just ok. Surround sound was also great. I decided to keep this receiver and install the Yamaha receiver on the living room.

Chose to return.

I didn't get along with this unit from the get go. The automatic speaker balancing routine always failed. The sound quality was adequate for action movies. However, the sound quality was unacceptable for symphonic cd's. I used Mirantz speakers for...

Didn't burn the house down

Mediocre sound quality. Automatic speaker set up didn't work

Decent receiver but not doing backflips

I picked this up during Cyber week for $249. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it for the most part. My main reasons for buying, other than my old receiver of many many years finally died. RIP..., was for the AirPlay, Pandora, and various other...
