First Tube Amp

Received the amp on November 1st. Out of the box it was good. Using a pair of Tekton Design Model 4.1's helped. (Full range 4.0" Fostex drivers) Just switched out the tubes for a pair of 5670's. Unbelievable. A real bargin.

Qinpu A Series Tube Hybrid Amp - My In-depth Review

Hi analog tube fans. I've been listening daily to the A-3 (the 9-watt kid sister to the A-6000 mk II) for over a year now and still can't get over how great it sounds. Those who've auditioned both say that aside from power output, their sound quality...

Sweet

Amazing sound for such an inexpensive stereo receiver. Follow better sound I've heard, much better, a Macintosh for 75 hundred, so for 25 times less you could have a very respectable system in a quite large room. Attached with Audioengine P4 speakers....

Not enough power to drive my Hifiman He400 headphones if you use it as headphones amplifier

I bought this hoping to use it as headphone amplifier for my new Hifiman HE-400. The HE-400 headphones is one of the top of the line. But it just sound awful with this Qinpu 6000 MKII. It simply does not have enough power to drive it. It sound nice if...

The sound is truly amazing at any price point

I had listened to a very very expensive vacuum tube system some years ago in Taiwan playing Hotel California, to this day I can still remember how big, clean and warm the sound was. And the fact I could discern all the instruments and really felt the...

Another high five for Qinpu A-6000MKII

I had the A-6000 MKII for 5 months and I had a chance to allow burn in time before reviewing. I have a set of Cambridge S30s and an AudioPro subwoofer wired to the A-6000 MKII amp in my office. The A-6000 MKII is small with only 16 watts, but this amp...

ABSOLUTELY POOR PRODUCT SUPPORT

First off for the people who read this i rated the company the product itself is 5 stars hands down,a very good design. But for those unlikely people who experiance problems with the unit getting a hold of a usa phone number and repairing this product...

I don't know much, but I know I love you

Not the biggest audiophile, but always wanted a tube amplifier since hearing it at my friend's house years ago. I am using 685 B&W speakers and just using Airport express to push some music through Pandora. So, not the best sources, and despite of...

bought while living in China

I bought this amp while living in Beijing. I paid for $500 for it with some cheap Qinpu speakers. Towards the end of my stay in China the left tube died. Once arriving back in the USA I ordered a large transformer (mine is a 230V system) and some GE...
